Portland Public Schools Calendar (2025 2026) -The 2025-26 academic calendar of the Portland Public Schools is not yet officially published, though due to the trends of the past few years, the school year will have a very similar format. Presumably, it is seen during the first week of September 2025, probably after Labor Day (early September) and PPS starts its classes following the federal holiday. 
The school year tends to conclude in mid-June so that the Last day of school is likely to be approximately mid-June 2026 but may be subject to weather-related school closures like snow days. The students will usually have a WINTER BREAK between the end of December 2025 and the beginning of January 2026, and they will resume the second semester. An approximate date of a SPRING BREAK would be during the end of March or early April in 2026 to give students and staff a chance to relax in the middle of the semesters.
After the academic year ends, SUMMER BREAK at Weber is to start in the middle of June 2026 and end in the first part of September 2026, at which point the second school year begins. The PPS school year is conventionally followed by two semesters and the federal holidays and designated non instructional days are incorporated in the school calendar.
