The Katy ISD Calendar 2025-2026 has a number of holidays for students. First day of School on August 13th, 2025, and students will have Fall Break October 13–17, 2025 – a little time off during the first semester of the year. Schools are then out for Thanksgiving Break, November 24–28, 2025, so families can have the holiday together.

The biggest break is Winter Break, from December 22nd, 2025, to January 2nd, 2026; this comes after the first half of the year is over. In the second semester, students get Spring Break on March 9 to March 13, 2026, full week off in March. At the end of the school year, the Last day of school is May 21st, 2026, with Summer Break beginning May 22nd, 2026, and lasting until school starts again. These planned breaks give students a chance to relax and get ready for the next part of the school year.
Katy ISD Calendar 2025-2026
Katy ISD – a highly thought of, sizeable public school system in the Houston suburbs – teaches almost 95,000 children, from Pre-Kindergarten all the way up to grade 12, in approximately 74 schools. It is regularly among the best in Texas, owing to its good results on state tests, 95 to 98% of pupils achieving graduation, and really good scores in the Advanced Placement, SAT and ACT examinations. The district is also good at vocational training via its Miller Career and Technology Centre, and has very successful artistic and sporting options available. Katy ISD places a lot of importance on pupils learning as individuals, people in the community taking part, and the well-being of students; and it hopes to get every kid ready to “live life to the full”.

Katy ISD Board has formally approved the 2025–26 Compensation Plan
Katy ISD has approved its 2025-26 compensation scheme, including growth for all employees. New teachers will receive a $ 2,500 stipend, while more experienced teachers increase to $ 5,000. Non-teaching employees and administrators will get 3% increment. The scheme mixes state funding with local support to invest in employee retention and success.
